27 ideas/goals for my 27th year!
**in no particular order**
1. Complain less.
2. Less Facebook and more actual face time with people!
3. Read an actual book book, not just books on my iPad.
4. Blog at least once a month.
5. Go to as many concerts as possible (Bethel on April 21st and Mumford and Sons on May 23 means I'm off to a good start!)
6. Be more intentional about de-cluttering and keeping my apartment tidy.
7. Get better at cooking!
8. Write letters and cards to friends and family.
9. Realize and learn that how I perceive how people treat me and respond to me is NOT reality. My perceptions do not define reality. Do not take things personally or feel belittled/unwanted/attacked.
10. Pay for the person behind me at the drive-through.
11. Learn to let go of my need to fit in.
12. Visit a new city! Seeing that I love traveling and that Kelly is a travel nurse, that will likely be met many times :)
13. Keep up with running!
14. On the subject of running...Actually RUN a 5K- there's one on June 3rd. And I don't have a "finishing time" goal...I just want to finish!!
15. Improve my response time to work-related emails, phone calls, and all other correspondences. I'm pretty prompt but some days it just slides. I want to maintain as much professionalism as possible.
16. Tell those that I love "I love you" every single day
17. Pick up another knitting project!
18. Stay on track with reading my 1-Year Bible chronological plan (I'm on day 120ish in or so)
19. Drink more water! Even more than I already do!
20. Give things over to God FIRST!
21. Visit my parents more than just holidays (Also on track with that as well!)
22. Seek the truth first before jumping to conclusions.
23. Do at least one devotional on YouVersion in addition to my Chronological Bible reading plan.
24. Take more pictures! (But not necessarily post them to social media)
25. Take constructive criticism with an approach of receptivity and appreciation rather than jumping to the defensive or feeling attacked.
26. Continue to do my best to do my part in building a Christian foundation in my relationship with Justin as we look to a potential future together. This includes prayer, devotional, small groups, individual friend time/accountability, whatever else will draw us closer to Christ and to each other in Christ.
27. Eat the dang dessert!!!!!
Also, I have pink hair now, temporarily, so that's pretty fun.
Live beautifully, friends! Find the joy, and tell someone every day you love them! :)
