Another new chapter begins

Last week, I gave a fairly lengthy life update, where I gave an honest musing that a bit of impatience was beginning to set in at the prospect of waiting on a job.

Isn’t it remarkable how so much can change in 10ish days, and how that quiet whisper of “not yet” finally turns into a louder whisper of “Go”?

Starting on July 23rd, I will be back at EKU working with the departments (yes, plural) of Biology and Geosciences as their Senior Office Associate, a split position in an effort to cost-save. It will be a bit of a learning curve with its share of new potential challenges, managing the ebb and flow of two departments, but I was more than pleased with the atmosphere and camaraderie during my interview last Tuesday, and I believe I am up and ready for the challenge! It certainly doesn’t hurt that I’m housed in a brand new building either! ;)

God answers prayer, and hopefully one day I’ll come to fully trust His faithfulness. He answers prayer, not when I want Him to or when it’s most convenient for me, but in His perfect timing. He is so good!

The waiting is over. To God be the glory!
