Things I'm Loving {October 2017}

It's been a while! Don't worry Camille, I didn't forget <3 (Check her out at Reflections in Writing) Also, these are in no particular order.

1. Pre-Marital Counseling

Guuyyyysssss. If you're thinking about getting married or are getting married, GO TO PRE-MARITAL COUNSELING. Do it. We just crossed the halfway point of ours and come away every second Wednesday full of practical advice, wise insight from an amazing pastor, and a deeper connection with each other. I have to admit, at first I was anxious because I had this terrible fear something to the degree of, "Holy crap! What if we get to the end of this and I realize I've made a huge mistake?" Unsurprisingly, that has NOT been the case at all. It's such a blessing, and I know it's equipping us with valuable tools that will hopefully make our marriage more like Christ's reflection of His divine and unconditional love for us!

2. Face Time!

Kell Bell is now residing in the Midwest state of Iowa, a whole time zone away, and we have been so fortunate in technology helping us twins be able to regularly talk to each other. We recently have fallen in love with Face Time! It's so much more user-friendly and not as glitchy as Skype. In all honesty, I love my twin and am so happy for her...and am happy that we're establishing a new groove of spending time with each other. Even though she's a few hundred miles away :)

3. New music on Spotify

For the last few weeks I've had Bethel Music's instrumental album "After All These Years", Jeremy Camp's "The Answer", and Matt Maher's "Echos" on repeat. I love good music!

4. Fall Break!!!!

I'm off today and tomorrow for EKU's fall break! It's been a wonderful, restful, and refreshing time so far. It's great to have a little break. I'm blessed to be working at a university that takes good care of its employees.

5. New glasses!

Enough said!

What are you thankful for and enjoying this month, friends?
